What does the Artist's "Tracks" section tell me?

Confused as to what the information means in the "Tracks" section of your artist account? Learn about it here.

The artist’s "tracks" section displays all the sons that an artist has uploaded to their account. Any song can be offered as a single download, free download, or both. Each song has the following components:

Sales screenshot An example sales section of an artist account.
  • "Free" tag—Indicates whether a track has been marked as free by the artist. Artists can toggle the free setting by clicking the "free" text.
  • "Single" tag—Indicates whether a track is up for sale as a single track by the artist. Artists can toggle the single by clicking the "free" text.
  • Name of the track that the artist has entered
  • Size of the MP3 as calculated by TuneShout
  • Length of the track as calculated by TuneShout
  • Date the file was uploaded.

Deleting Tracks

All tracks can be deleted by the artist, EXCEPT for the tracks released as part of an album. By deleting a track, the artist will remove it from the site completely and will no longer be on for sale. To delete a track, click the red "x" in your artist’s "tracks" section.
