What does the Artist's "Sale" page mean?

Are you an artist and wondering what all the data means? We're here to help you out.

The sale page logs all sales that an artist has made since they created their TuneShout account. When a listener purchases a song or album, the sale will appear on the artist’s sale page.

Initially, the sale will appear in grey, which means that the sale is pending. Artists can cash out one week after the sale has been cleared. Click the "Cashout" button at the top of the sale page to collect your royalties via PayPal.

Sales Page Sample sales page.

Each sale will have the following components:

  • Unique ID number for each sale
  • Track or album information of sale
  • How much royalty the artist made from each sale (50¢ per song, $5 per album)
  • Indication of whether or not an artist has been paid for the sale
  • Status of the sale, indicating whether the sale has passed the one week threshold for artist cashout
