Stack 'em High
"Stack' em high" represents the last 10 years of musical activity of Max Paparella. An album that cannot be pigeonholed as belonging to a specific musical genre because there have been so many musical influences since the end of the '90s. Various tracks are strongly driven by their resonance and rhythmic funk, just as the harmonies and melodies are inspired by the electric jazz of the '70s. The making of the album saw the participation of a number of superb musicians and friends, including Paolo "Apollo" Negri (Link Quartet, Wicked Minds, Modulo 5) considered one of the finest Hammond organ players in the world, the highly talented Simone Stefanini (guitarist of band Nove Vite), and Marco Bergami, jazz saxophone player, greatly inspired by the music of the great John Coltrane and Michael Brecker. The album is just available in digital format.
